Gender Parity Strategies
MOHi agrees on the G20 Ministers of Labour leadership commitment to reduce the gender gap in labour force participation, on the setting and implementation of key policy principles. Our economic case to ensure the full gender parity index in participation in the labour market, targets exponential changes within countries by 2030.
Decent Work Mechanisms
MOHi Policy implementation supports the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted in 2015, especially SDG8 on inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all, which seeks to address gender inequalities at work.
MOHi analyses and uses labour market information and other indicators emphasising the 19th ICLS resolution on statistics of work, employment and labour underutilisation as an important pillar of the new SDG indicator framework, not only for targets in Goal 8 but also in other Goals related to the sustainable agenda.
